School is cool! And so your child’s uniforms should also be cool—and comfortable as well. If they tidy up nicely, their confidence will likely go up, too. As parents and guardians, it is one of your jobs to look for the best school uniforms for them. This should be fairly easy, if you know what to look for and where and when to get them.
Here are three easy ways to get the best school uniforms for your children:
1. Figure out the right size. If your child currently wears size 8 clothes, consider getting them school uniforms in size 9 or size 8 ½ whenever half sizes are available. Slightly loose clothing are more comfortable than very tight ones, especially since they’ll be wearing their school uniforms for most part of the day.
2. Take note of the quality and the quantity. School uniforms should be durable and colour-consistent. The fabrics should be well-chosen, does not easily adhere to dirt, and easily washable. Sometimes, wrinkle-free fabrics are even better so you can save time and money because you don’t have to iron their school uniforms every day. In terms of how many you should get, you can opt to buy 5 sets so you only have to wash them or take them to the laundromat once a week, or you can get 2 or 3 sets only if you don’t mind washing them in the middle of the week.
3. Buy ahead of time. Do not wait for classes to begin. You may even find school uniform suppliers that offer special discounts or cheaper prices if you begin searching at least a month or two ahead. If possible, bring your children when you buy their school uniforms so they can try them on the spot, instead of returning or having them altered later.
With these tips, getting your child ready for school should be hassle free.
